The organization advocated for public housing, affordable health care, improved public education, free school lunches, and a publicly funded day care center.
It also presented bills to replace the council tax with an income-based alternative, for the abolition of prescription charges, and the introduction of free school meals.
There are three nursery schools, 359 primary schools, 35 secondary schools, one all-through school, one free school, one short stay school and 11 special schools.
