Of the 398 cases that had protective order activity, only half involved a protective order restricting disclosure of discovery materials, and of those about 9 percent were personal injury cases.
Total order activity in the second half of 2012 was much better than the previous four quarters and represents the third consecutive quarter of improved orders.
