To me, the free-range egg debate though is emblematic of a larger socio-political problem - one of an acute national short-sightedness and a failure to engage with real social issues.
I will fight their corrupt practices, selfishness, greediness, short-sightedness and whatever evil is in them wherever and whenever they are encountered.
There isn't any absolute proof that children engaging with these devices have more short-sightedness, because that is the likely problem, than other people.
