Each morning a panel of nine leading banks is asked what they would bid for bankers acceptances maturing in one month, three months, six months and various other durations.
Rate was another key attraction: it will pay a slightly lower rate compared with its secured facility which is set at bankers acceptances plus 175 basis points.
