It has been shown recently that it is essential for good risk management to consider explicitly the possibility of crash scenarios.
Here the ITWM in collaboration with the University of Kaiserslautern developed the approach of worst-case portfolio optimization, which will be further investigated to deliver an innovative contribution to modern portfolio theory.
