This area is now undergoing changes as some of the original ranch and split-level homes are being torn down and replaced by homes with a minimum of 2800 sqft.
The apartments are designed following a split-level planning system, which results in a ceiling height of 2.85 m over the living area and 2.7 m in the raised bedrooms.
They began creating a subdivision of affordable but aesthetically pleasing split-level homes that were intended to improve people's lives by improving their relationship to the land.
