Acht Jahre vor Pergolesi schuf Georg Philipp Telemann 1725 in Hamburg als Einlage für Händels Oper „ Tamerlano “ am Gänsemarkttheater das lustige Zwischenspiel „ Pimpinone oder Die Ungleiche Heirat “, um nichts weniger lustig und entlarvend wie sein späteres italienisches Pendant.
Herr Pimpinone – der Name spricht Bände – engagiert von der Straße weg Fräulein Vespetta – frei übersetzt „ flotte Biene “ – als Dienstmädchen .
Für die Buffopartie engagierten die Festwochen eine junge Sängerin aus Deutschland, Marie-Sophie Pollak, die im vergangenen Jahr im Finale des Cesti-Wettbewerbs überzeugte.
