Die Komponenten des Wörterbuchnetzes werden durch ein interdisziplinäres Methodenbündel philologisch-lexikografischer, semantischer und informationstechnologischer Verfahren in das Netz integriert und standardisiert recherchierbar gemacht.
Im Wörterbuchnetz wird u. a. die digitale Fassung des Goethe-Wörterbuchs angeboten.
