Interessanterweise fehlt sie auf der Iberischen Halbinsel weitgehend (nur im Norden, vor allem Pyrenäen).

Manchmal sind die Habitate sehr klein und umfassen nur wenige Quadratmeter Fels mit Festuca-Büscheln im lichten Wald, so oft im Tessin.
