The test phase of the SCHR will expire at the end of 2015.
Based on a careful evaluation of the SCHR's work the Federal Council will take a definitive policy decision at the end of summer 2015 on whether and how the SCHR shall be transformed into an independent human rights institution in the medium term.

Ende 2015 läuft die Pilotphase des SKMR aus.
Auf der Grundlage einer Evaluation des SKMR wird der Bundesrat voraussichtlich im Spätsommer 2015 einen Grundsatzentscheid fällen, ob und wie das SKMR mittelfristig in eine unabhängige Menschenrechtsinstitution umgewandelt werden soll.
