In 2011 Ellen Blumenstein curated the Icelandic Pavilion of the 54th Biennale di Venezia ( Libia Castro / Ólafur Ólafsson ) and taught at the Piet Zwart Institute / Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam.
On the occasion of the current dOCUMENTA (13) in Kassel, she is collaborating with Spanish artist Dora García on her performance and talk show Klau Mich!
