The entire spectrum of his work is covered, from his early watercolours to the large-sized oil paintings from the last years of Frohner ’s life.
The works on display at MUSA will include his complete cycle of etchings Der Großinquisitor (The Great Inquisitor) as well as his stunning series of works Wiener Madln (Viennese Girls), which is considered one of the artist’s masterpieces.
The actionist way in which Frohner explored shapes and materials is showcased by his mattress sculpture Ausgeweidet (Disembowelled).

Im MUSA wird sein Zyklus von Radierungen „Der Großinquisitor“ vollständig zu sehen sein, ebenso die eindrucksvolle Reihe „Wiener Madln“, die als eines der Hauptwerke des Künstlers gilt.
Wie Frohner aktionistisch Materialien und Formen erforschte, wird mit dem Matratzenbild „Ausgeweidet“ vorgestellt.
