The Commission considers that the continuation of the GSP for another decade ( 2006 / 2015 ) is a non controversial issue.
The GSP needs to be simplified and more transparent.
One option currently under consideration by the Commission’s services is to reduce from 5 to 3 the different GSP arrangements and to remove the yearly graduation, in order to provide a stable framework for economic operators.
