The main house and most of the outbuildings have been demolished by neglect, but the largely undisturbed site remains important for archaeological reasons.
It has been left gradually to fall into disrepair and neglect with graffiti and litter and a dilapidated cross-over bridge lacking non-slip surfacing to the stairs.
