Aus Sicht des Arbeitsschutzes wäre zu wünschen, dass für Konstrukteure einheitliche ergonomische Daten – z.B. als EN-ISO- Norm – vorliegen ; alle übrigen Daten für weitere Nutzergruppen ( die auf europäischer Ebene unter Art.137 fallen würden ) könnten dann gegebenenfalls in separaten ISO-Normen festgeschrieben werden.
Eine solche Vereinheitlichung ist bedauerlicherweise nicht absehbar .

Sadly, however, such harmonization appears unlikely in the foreseeable future.
