Ein Beispiel dafür ist die nachträgliche Identifikation ( Verifikation ) der Zielzellen aus dem Pool der Kandidatenzellen mittels DNA Typisierung – Anwendung einer forensischen Methode zur Identifikation von Individuen.
Neben die DNA-Typisierung, die noch als Teil der Identifikationsstrategie gesehen werden kann, können Aliquote der Amplifikation auch mittels Sequenzierung oder mCGH (metaphase comparative genome hybridization) analysiert werden.
