Loan monitoring and loan recovery departments were established to provide oversight over the bank's loan portfolio, provide remedial services and actively recover any bad loans.
But the central bank also noted that lenders reportedly increased their loan monitoring requirements, given the higher risk levels associated with micro businesses.
