Der Stausee bietet hervorragende Bedingungen zum Baden, Windsurfen, Segeln, Rudern ( die Staumauer ist mit einem Lift für Sportboote ausgestattet ) und Sportangeln.
In der Zeit von April bis Oktober sind Passagierschiffe in Betrieb - wir empfehlen z.B. einen Ausflug mit einem Dampfschiff zum Schloss Orlík oder zur Burg Zvíkov.
