Der Satellit bewegt sich nun auf einem polaren Orbit, der eine minimale Höhe von nur 250 km hat, einen maximalen Abstand von 66000 km und eine Umlaufdauer von ungefähr 24 Stunden besitzt.
Messungen auf diesem Orbit werden über 2 Venus-Tage bzw. etwa 500 Erdtage gemacht.
