Erster Platz in der Elsevier / ScienceWorks Valorisation Ranking 2013 Am Dienstag, dem 11. Juni, wurde die Universität Twente zur besten niederländischen Universität auf dem Gebiet der Valorisation gewählt : der Umsetzung wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse in gesellschaftlichen und wirtschaftlichen Nutzen.
Neben Bildung und Forschung stellt Valorisation die dritte Kernaufgabe von Universitäten dar.
