www.kas.deAm 08.10.2013 feierte die Namibisch- Deutsche Stiftung für kulturelle Zusammenarbeit ( NaDS ) unter Anwesenheit ehemaliger und heutiger Vorstandsmitglieder, des Vorsitzenden der Deutsch-Namibischen Gesellschaft ( DNG ), Klaus Hess, des deutschen Botschafters in Namibia, Onno Hückmann, sowie vieler Freunde der NaDS im Estorff- Haus in Windhuk ihr 25- jähriges Bestehen.
Die NaDS ist nach der Unabhängigkeit Namibias 1990 aus der 1992 aufgelösten Interessengemeinschaft Deutschsprachiger Südwester (IG, gegr. 1977) als eine kulturpolitische Organisation hervorgegangen, um die deutschen Sprach- und Kulturinteressen für alle Namibier zu fördern und weiter zu entwickeln.
Sie ist Trägerin des im Jahr 2002 eröffneten Goethe- Zentrums in Windhuk, dem einzigen deutschen Kulturzentrum in Namibia.
