Die Mesopause, in einer Höhe von 80-90 km, trennt die Mesosphäre von der Thermosphäre.
Sie liegt ungefähr in der gleichen Höhe wie die Turbopause, unterhalb der die verschiedenen chemischen Substanzen aufgrund von Turbulenz gut durchmischt sind.

The mesopause, at an altitude of 80-90 km, separates the mesosphere from the thermosphere.
