Dazu wurden Maifischlarven in die Versuchsanlage überführt und das Verhalten der Tiere bei An- und Abwesenheit von Wellenereignissen mit einem Computerprogramm aufgezeichnet.
Zusätzlich dazu wurden mögliche Strandungsereignisse am Ufer des Mesokosmos ausgewertet.
