Auffällig ist insbesondere, dass die drei häufig an vorletzter oder letzter Position stehenden Zeichen D 18, D 23 und D 35 des Diskos von Phaistos drei der ebenfalls häufigsten Endungszeichen der Linearschrift A ähneln.
