Seit Anfang 2013 wurden Mitarbeiter der Zentralbank sowie von Finanzinstitutionen für die Umsetzung fortgebildet.

Together with the Bank of Uganda, Guidelines for Consumer Protection were developed to promote greater trust and transparency between consumers and financial institutions.
Since the beginning of 2013, both financial institutions and supervisors from Bank of Uganda have been trained to ensure that financial institutions treat consumers in line with the new requirements, flanked by public awareness initiatives to ensure that clients are aware of their rights and responsibilities.
