Falls alle außenstehenden Aktionäre und Optionsinhaber von Leighton das Angebot annehmen, wird HOCHTIEF seinen Anteil an Leighton von 58,77 % auf bis zu 73,82 % steigern und zwar gegen eine Vergütung in bar von annähernd 1.205 Mio. AUD. Dies entspricht annähernd 787 Mio. EUR beim derzeitigen Umrechnungskurs.
Mit sofortiger Wirkung übernimmt Herr Marcelino Fernández Verdes neben dem Vorstandsvorsitz bei der HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft auch den Vorstandsvorsitz (CEO) bei Leighton.

If all Leighton shareholders and all option holders accept the offer, HOCHTIEF will increase its stake in Leighton from 58.77% to a maximum of 73.82% for a total cash consideration of approximately AUD 1,205 million, corresponding to approximately EUR 787 million at the current exchange rate.
As of today, HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft's CEO, Marcelino Fernández Verdes, will also become the CEO of Leighton.
