Two of the country's largest farmer-shareholder co-operatives are on expansion paths far removed from their origins as basic procurers and suppliers of phosphate-based fertiliser.
According to some authors, this is currently done to promote better coping mechanisms for the recipient and close kin as well as to maintain standardized operating procedures by organ procurers.
