Public buses, jeepneys and taxis congest the roads, because operators of these public vehicles can easily get franchises for their business if they know the right contacts in regulatory offices.
Investigations show, however, that, instead of relieving unemployment and reducing irregularity, these employment agencies actually serve to congest the labor market and to increase idleness and irregularity of employment.
Time for governments to see the error of their stupidity and start to reinvest in public transport not more roads etc. for more cars to further congest the roads.
