Die Wanderung beginnt im Ortsteil Gröden in Berwang, zuerst dem Weg zum Älple folgen, dann der Beschilderung Sonnbergsattel und Hönig folgen, hinunter geht es über den Sattelkopf Richtung Rinnen bei Berwang.
Dieser Berg ist der schönste Blumenberg weit und breit.
