This is an over-shoe application with hobnailed metal ice studs on the sole, leather heel sides and toe cap, and olive drab canvas sides with metal lace holes.
It was constructed of wind-resistant olive drab cotton poplin, and had a flannel wool panel that folded down to cover the ears and the back of the head.
