Fellows are selected based on an application, including a short curriculum vitae, a research statement, and a teaching statement expressing interest in the program.
Firstly, an application including a curriculum vitae and cover letter outlining the student's interest in becoming a leader was submitted to the principal.
These included aqua vitae (i.e. spirits of wine), quicksilver, sal ammoniac, alum, litharge, orpiment, saltpetre, silver, sugar, sulphur, tin, verdigris, vinegar and white lead.
