In Kooperation mit der staatlichen Berufsbildungsstätte ( Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje, SENA ) erhalten Jugendliche eine Ausbildung in Elektrotechnik, als Erzieherinnen und Erzieher oder als Friseurinnen und Friseure.
In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Berufsbildungsinstitut ACCESO in Cartagena werden Jugendliche als Hotel- oder Küchenhilfskräfte ausgebildet und in berufsbildende Praktika vermittelt, die ihnen in der Regel eine Anstellung bei den lokalen Tourismusbetrieben garantieren.
Bei der Erstellung des Lehrplans von Pies Descalzos machen die Bewohner des Einzugsgebiets, vor allem vertriebene Frauen, Vorschläge für künftige Inhalte des Lehrplans.
