Seine Eltern Yola und Toni Bichler verbrachten in seiner Jugend lange Zeit auf Korsika, dort ist seine 1. Heimat und die Liebe zur Natur wurde dort geprägt.
Er lernte auch windsurfen in kürzester Zeit und begann mit dem Freestylen in El Yaque, dort bekam er Tipps von Dioni, dem damaligen Local Hero der Isla Margarita!
