Vom Montreal-Protokoll erfasst werden Stoffe wie FCKWs, Methylchloroform, Methylbromid und Tetrachlorkohlenstoff.
Das BVL ist beteiligt, soweit der Einsatz des Wirkstoffs Methylbromid im Pflanzenschutz (Ende der letzten Zulassung in Deutschland am 31.12.1990) und Vorratsschutz (Ende der letzten Zulassungen am 31.10.2002) betroffen ist.
