Die wichtigsten Maßnahmen in den drei Förderbereichen :
Nachhaltige Wiederherstellung der land- und forstwirtschaftlichen Produktionsgrundlagen von 1.700 Familien durch mit Obstbäumen, Kaffee und Forstpflanzen diversifizierte und bodenkonservierende Bodennutzungssysteme, die Anlage von Terrassen, die Anpflanzung von Schutzstreifen und die Einrichtung von Agroforstsystemen.
Zum Schutz der rund 4.500 gefährdeten Familien in vorrangig eingestuften Tälern wurden Maßnahmen wie Aufforstungen und Erhalt sowie Management von etwa 250 Hektar Waldflächen und infrastrukturelle Schutzmassnahmen durchgeführt.
