Gaienhofen ist ein ganz kleines schönes Dörflein, hat keine Eisenbahn, keine Kaufläden, keine Industrie, nicht einmal einen eigenen Pfarrer, so daß ich heut früh zur Beerdigung eines Nachbarn bei scheußlichstem Regen eine halbe Stunde über Feld waten mußte.
