Die Nachfrage von Banken und Finanzdienstleistern nach Know-How in diesem Bereich begründet sich durch die Tatsache, dass es zwar allgemein akzeptiert wird, dass die dem Black-Scholes-Modell zugrunde liegende Annahme konstanter Volatilität in der Praxis verletzt ist, umgekehrt sich aber bis jetzt noch kein Standardverfahren am Markt durchsetzen konnte.

The strong demand for Know - How from different banks and financial institutions in this field can be explained through the generally agreed fact that the assumption of constant volatilities in the Black - Scholes model contradicts to reality. However, up to now there is no other general procedure.
