Only an average of 92 per cent of the zero-day attacks were blocked during the tests, it said, a result that suggests that one out of 10 malware attacks succeeded.
And yet, the report found only a fraction of enterprises use forward-looking security technologies to help prevent zero-day attacks, mainly due to concerns over network performance and uptime.
