After finishing up at 1:30 p.m., everyone involved took part in a debriefing session before joining the fire department's ladies auxiliary for a turkey dinner.
The team may respond directly to the scene, or the station where they hold a diffusing and debriefing session where first responders can make their thoughts known.
Debriefing sessions allow staff to think about personal and systemic issues, share ideas, and identify areas for improvement, according to the project.
