Then the main course arrived -- slow-roasted beef tenderloin, tender and juicy, cooked to perfection and accompanied by roasted parsnips, French beans and exotic mushrooms.
There was little to choose between the different varieties for taste, although the runner/French bean crosses were typically smoother, sweeter and less "beany" flavoured.
