In July 2010, Expert Systemtechnik brought a brand-new, high-quality CNC cutter, the cutEXPERT ecocam with optional oscillating draw or circular knife, onto the market.
www.expertsystemtechnik.deVon 2009 bis 2012 wurden 15 afrikanische HIV-Programme zivilgesellschaftlicher und staatlicher Partner in Malawi, Tansania, Kenia, Burkina Faso und Kamerun beraten, Genderaspekte stärker in ihre Arbeit zu integrieren, u.a. zugunsten vulnerabler Gruppen wie zum Beispiel Sexarbeiterinnen und Männer, die Sex mit Männern haben ( MSM ) . Kapazitäten im Bereich Planung, Umsetzung, Evaluierung sowie im Bereich Interessensvertretung solcher Projekte wurden mithilfe BACKUP ausgebaut.
Neben technischer Unterstützung wurde auch finanzielle Hilfe für diese innovativen Initiativen zur Verfügung gestellt.

BACKUP has helped to expand capacities in the area of planning, implementation, evaluation and in the area of representing the interests of these types of projects.
In addition to technical support, financial assistance was provided for these innovative initiatives.
