Durchgeführt wurde das Projekt vom „ Namibia Institute for Democracy “ in Zusammenarbeit mit der Namibisch-Deutschen Stiftung, finanziert aus dem Kulturerhaltprogramm des Auswärtigen Amtes.
Ein Team unter Leitung eines Historikers hat über einen Zeitraum von neun Monaten Interviews in verschiedenen Regionen Namibias mit Nachfahren der betroffenen Herero, Nama, Damara, San und Baster durchgeführt.
Insgesamt wurden 66 Personen anhand eines Fragebogens interviewt.

For a period of nine months a team headed by a historian conducted interviews in various regions of Namibia with descendants of Herero, Nama, Damara, San and Baster affected by colonial rule.
In total 66 persons were interviewed by means of a questionnaire.
