As soon as MSF has been notified of a serious crisis, a small team is dispatched on an exploratory mission.
The field team arrives at the relevant location within a maximum of 48 hours following the occurrence of a catastrophe, gathering information on the current situation to subsequently make a decision regarding the details of the disaster relief operation.
